Projects finished
Up till now my research interests focused on genetic base of evolution. I've been working in the projects studying: impact of small one-base genome alterations on population's fitness, changes in 16S DNA sequence as bacterial filogeny-tree base, reduction of bacterial genome as a response to stable environmental condition, values of basic population parameters describing spontaneous mutations.
During my postdoc I participate in a research grant: "The role of antimicrobial compounds and spatial structure in biodiversity", where I focused on the coexistence of the competing species of toxic yeast.
